Tony Burnell, relationship director, Hotels and Leisure, Lloyds TSB
After joining Lloyds TSB in the early 1980’s, Tony has worked in Corporate Markets in the City for 15 years, having moved over from the West End where he spent the previous four years setting up and running a Business Centre. Over the last few years, Tony has built up a specialism in the hotel sector and is one of Lloyds TSB’s team focussing on this area.

David Campbell is president and ceo of AEG Europe. David has overseen the transformation of the Millennium Dome into The O2, the state-of-the-art entertainment destination that opened in June 2007. Formerly chief executive of Visit London, Campbell has more than 25 years marketing and management experience at General Mills, Pepsi and Virgin.
Gregoir Chikaher, director, european and global hotels & leisure sector leader, Arup
Gregoir Chikaher is a director with Ove Arup & Partners, specialising in the multi-disciplinary design and management of hotel and leisure projects worldwide. He has been with Arup over twenty five years and has worked with all major international hotel chains and Arup has done more than 1000 hotel projects around the globe. Gregoir leads focused teams that understand the issues of owning, developing investing and operating hospitality, hotel and resort facilities.
Theo Constantinides, partner, Gardiner & Theobald
Theo is a partner at Gardiner & Theobald LLP and has been with the practice since 1998. He is one of the leaders of the practice’s Hotel Sector Group and as such has been actively involved in all aspects of cost planning and management on a number of high profile hotel projects for a variety of clients and operators.
Alex Flach, construction director, Whitbread
As construction director, Alex’s responsibility is to drive the construction, refurbishment, repairs and maintenance of Whitbread’s Hotel and Restaurants. Alex has worked for Whitbread for the last 13 years in a variety of roles and previously worked in private practice for a number of Architectural Practices. Alex is very interested in sustainability within construction and is the driving force behind the UK’s first sustainable budget hotel at Tamworth.

Gerard Greene, ceo, Yotel

Jan Hazelton, managing director, Taylor Global Advisors
Ms. Hazelton is a seasoned hotel industry executive whose experience includes banking/lending, asset management, finance and development, feasibility and investment analysis in the hotel sector. Jane Lawrence, director, Conran & Partners

Paul Nash, director, Cyril Sweett

Tina Norden, associate director, Conran & Partners
Tina leads a 20-strong team of designers who, amongst other things, are responsible for the design of all D&D London restaurants, including the award-winning ‘Skylon’ restaurant in the Grade I listed Royal Festival Hall. The team is currently designing a hotel and restaurant to be housed in Birmingham’s Cube, as well as designs for a new London Hotel for the Frogmore Group; South Place and a hotel in Hong Kong.

Stephen Richardson, director and head of hotel valuations, Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality, EMEA
Stephen has considerable experience in the valuation and appraisal of hotels. He is head of Hotel Valuations EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality, and has completed or is completing valuation projects in London, Paris, Moscow and Minsk. Towards the end of 2009, he was the lead partner in the sale of the Silken Building, 336-337 Strand, London where a price in excess of £110 million was realised.
Charles Scudamore, director, TRI Hospitality Consulting
Charles specialises in market demand and financial feasibility studies, business development and financial modelling and analysis. During his time with TRI, he has been involved with and managed a range of projects, from single asset hotel studies to large integrated mixed-use tourist resorts. Andrew Shaw, development director UK & Ireland, Accor
Andrew’s role at Accor is to co-ordinate the company’s development team covering the UK and Ireland, and to implement the company’s evolving Asset Right strategy which is resulting in an increasing focus on the franchise and management contract development models.  Through his previous consultancy and current development roles he has gained extensive knowledge of the hotel and leisure sectors across the Europe, Africa and Middle East region.

Andy Taylor, director, ISG
Andy Taylor is a director at ISG Pearce and has a wealth of industry experience spanning over 30 years. Andy joined ISG Pearce as an architect in 1985, he was appointed as a director of Pearce Leisure from 1996 to 2003 and has since held the role of company architect and head of innovation within ISG Pearce. Toby is the director responsible for the Hotels division of Project & Development Services (the Project/Cost Management and Building Surveying arm within Jones Lang LaSalle). Their Clients include Whitbread, Host Hotels and Resorts, Yotel, Starwood Capital, Marriott and IHG. Toby has been instrumental in helping develop and grow hotel brands throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Michelle Webb, senior vice president, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels
Michelle Webb is senior vice president in the investment sales department of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. Based in London, she is focused on hotel development mandates throughout the UK and Europe. This includes operator selection, management and lease negotiation, site and turnkey sales as well as development advice.
